Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Early College Athletic Facilities Ribbon-Cutting
DPS Leadership, families, and students will gather at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Early College (“DMLK”), a comprehensive high school in the Far Northeast, to celebrate the completion of a new athletic facilities project made possible by Denver voters.

About the event
In recent years academic and construction improvements for DMLK were provided by bond investments. This money was spent providing DMLK with a CHSAA high school gymnasium, new offices, a new training facility, concession and ticket booths, and an Astroturf soccer field with field lighting. The completed state of the art gym and additional physical education spaces will be revealed at the upcoming ribbon-cutting ceremony!
Join us to hear from district leaders, community partners, and to watch the first basketball game on the new court. Food trucks will be on-site, and you can sign up for a tour of the new facility here.
There will be a student competition at half time with a special prize for the winner.
