Watch: Glenbrook Greenhouse Ribbon Cutting

On June 21, 2023 Denver families joined together with DPS and local community leaders for a ribbon-cutting ceremony in honor of Glenbrook Greenhouse. The first-of-its-kind facility, a $4.5 million dollar project funded largely by 2020 bond dollars, can house up to 3,500 plants- and can grow them year round thanks to its sustainable solar-powered design. 1.7 tons of produce have been harvested, with more yield on the horizon. The homegrown food will provide meals for DPS students at over 200 schools.
